The Howl Story Slam is an open-microphone story-telling competition sponsored by North Country Public Radio and Adirondack Center for Writing. For the last few months, story-tellers have gathered all over the North Country to tell true five minute stories without notes. The winners of these competitions are coming together on Saturday, November 4th at Pickens Hall at 7:00 pm for The Howl Grand Slam (doors open at 6:00). They will make you laugh, and probably cry, sometimes at once. Join us for a fantastic night of local, top-notch entertainment!

Admission is $10, and advance tickets are available online and at Pickens General Store, (315) 344-7950. Refreshments provided. Our hall is handicapped accessible. Sponsored by North Country Public Radio, Adirondack Center for Writing and the Heuvelton Historical Association.
